I know that it has been a while since I have written on here but I just had to say hi and see how everyone is doing?
I am going to commit to this weight loss goal of mine and I AM going to do it! I am going to be making videos on YouTube and sharing the ups and downs of my voyage. There is only so minutes available for the videos and sometimes I just can’t get everything in to the video, so that is where this site comes in handy.
I am not going to stick to just ONE “Diet”. I am going to count my calories again (that seemed to help me some what start to lose) and I am going to do different exercises. I have “The Firm”, I have Jillian Michaels “30 Day Shred” but it sticks and won’t finish, and I have a bike that I am going to ride with my son, I am learning some line dances from YouTube that I plan on turning up the music in my living room and dancing my A$$ off…. literally!
I will post pictures here as I take them, I will post links to some videos, but NOT all of them, I will however, put a link to my YouTube page so that the latest ones can be viewed at any time.
I may also include some personal family stuff in here too, because let’s face it… “Losin’ It” doesn’t have to mean just weight… sometimes it’s OK to lose your mind a little too. Besides, the stress of my family life sometimes comes in to play with my weight loss and/or weight gain.
So… Here it is… I AM doing this. I am going to lose it! I am going to put a picture up of what I want to look like and what my goals are.
I think I am going to purchase this book and try it out. I have to warn you that if you transfer over to this way of eating too fast, you can cause damage to yourself and become toxic.
How motivating would it be to see what you would look like after losing weight? I don’t mean one of those generic faced simulators but one that is an actual picture of YOU???
Do you know what you BMR is? Basal Metabolic Rate… it’s the amount of calories you will burn in a day based on your age, weight and height. I just found out that mine is about 2149. So that means with absolutely NO exercise per day my body should burn off that many calories. So, if I am only eating 2100 calories, then I work out, I should lose 1-2 pounds per week. Want to find out yours???
This video I did on Wednesday along with the “Say Hey (I Love You)” video. I can’t say that I did them as well as they do in the video.. but I can feel it! I even worked up a sweat )!
